How cookies work here
MateRico keeps the cookie model intentionally small. Necessary storage is used for core behavior, preference storage stays off until you choose it, and Google Analytics is not loaded until you enable analytics.
Cookies currently in use
Today the site uses one consent cookie, a session language cookie for the active picker choice, and, only if you allow preferences, one persistent language cookie. If you sign in, necessary OAuth and session cookies keep the sign-in flow and account session active. If analytics is enabled for the site and you allow analytics, Google Analytics may set its own measurement cookies.

Optional categories
Analytics consent controls Google Analytics. Independently, MateRico uses a random first-party visitor identifier for bounded unique-visitor measurement and aggregate counters for public-page entries, path-to-path transitions, 30-minute sessions, and predefined feature names. Short-lived journey state stays in browser session storage; MateRico does not retain a complete browsing history for an individual visitor. Feature-click measurement stores no pointer coordinates, element text, account id, or submitted content. MateRico does not currently use marketing cookies; adding them would require an updated notice and a new choice.
Managing your choices
You can accept all cookies, keep only necessary cookies, or manage categories individually. The footer contains a permanent entry point for reopening those settings.
Withdrawing analytics consent stops the analytics integration and removes MateRico-accessible Google Analytics measurement cookies. YouTube is loaded only after you choose to play a video, using the privacy-enhanced embed domain.
Browser-level cookie controls can also clear or block storage, but the in-site preference dialog is the canonical control surface for MateRico-specific categories.
