Las Tunas

Las Tunas is an Argentine cooperative yerba mate producer supplied by family farms. INYM reports natural aging of 15 to 18 months, production of about 1.5 million kilograms, online distribution from a Buenos Aires depot and investments in drying and harvest equipment. A producer interview published by INYM traces the cooperative to 1960. It distinguishes that founding from the installation of its mill and registration of the Las Tunas and Primeros Colonos brands during the 1970s.
